"Scrap The Girls" May Challenge - Sisters

This challenge over at Scrap the Girls was based on a quote which quite touched my heart.  My sister and I are very close.  This picture was taken when we were quite young (I don't really like to think how long ago it really was)

Great 2 Crafty Chipboard and Green Tara flowers added to the delicacy I wanted for this page.
Green Tara ribbons an lace finished it off beautifully.  I am very happy with the way it turned out.

CSI Challenge #20

This is my page for the latest challenge #20 over at CSI
The photo is of my beautiful grandson, D'Arcy, ready for his Year 10 Formal.  We rarely get to see him
so dressed up and we are really proud of him.
For my  Evidence I have used stitching, staggered heights and paint drops and for my Testimony  "say 4 important things", which I have journalled on this tag, and then tucked in behind my layering.
These "4 important things" are exactly how I feel about him.  I love him to bits.
Thanks so much for dropping by.

May Challenge for "Once Upon a Sketch" - My Mother

Hi everyone - I've just finished my entry in the May Challenge over at Once Upon a Sketch.  The theme is "Mum" and I was very happy to be able to pay tribute to my Mum Marion.

I love the sketch in this Challenge and I was able to indulge my love of fussy cutting as well as adding a little doyley I made using vellum.
Gorgeous Green Tara flowers and leaves and the 2 Crafty chipboard enhanced my layout so nicely.
The tag says it all.

Layout, Card and Headband

Hi everyone - this is my latest design for the Green Tara Design Team.
I just loved the bright colours in this photo and I couldn't resist doing a page.  I've used Green Tara petals and flowers and  some gorgeous Green Tara ribbon to accentuate the orange colour.
I enjoyed doing the page so much I decided to make a card as well.  More Green Tara roses and ribbon of course and these great little chippie pieces by 2 Crafty Chipboard fitted the bill perfectly.
Allison, who owns Green Tara set the Design Team a challenge to decorate a headband.  Because I was already in the zone with these great colours I just kept going - this headband is the result.  More petals and ribbon and I've twisted the yellow sprays just to add a little further dimension to things.
