"Afternoon Tea in the Pool"
Once Upon a Sketch December Challenge

Hi everyone - here is my interpretation of the December Challenge over

Theme:  It's December...
Your layout must incorporate this theme and the sketch
Please make sure that we see some sort of journalling on your layouts

I've always loved this photograph of my mother.  We had to lift her
in and out of the pool at that stage but she always had a fantastic
sense of humour and  loved a good laugh.

We usually can't wait for the weather to get hot enough to start our
"tradition" and feel quite sad and deprived when it starts to cool down.

Beautiful Green Tara flowers were just perfect for this layout.

Stamping is so much fun and makes a background really interesting.
There is no end to the effects you can create using the stamps and
inks that are so readily available these days.

Thanks for dropping by

Page Drafts Christmas Cheer Release #17
"Merry Christmas"

Today I would like to share with you my interpretation of a
template from Emma Stafrace at her blog,
  Page Drafts  Release #17.

This is Template #17.6

I really liked this layout and I had all these gorgeous photos which
I just had to use.

Green Tara Flowers and some really spectacular 2 Crafty Chipboard
helped make the page quite special.

I think stamping always helps to make a background something
unique every single time.

Pop over to Page Drafts and have a look at their fabulous templates.

Thanks for dropping by.

Hi everyone - it's my turn over on the Green Tara Blog.
This is my first layout.

It doesn't matter what colour you need for a layout,
Green Tara has it.  I loved doing this page in beautiful, vibrant red
using several different flowers.

Stamping, distressing, inking, some more flowers and the
addition of some rather spectacular chipboard finishes this
page off perfectly.

"For You" Card

I love making cards with Green Tara products - I can really
indulge myself and "go to town".  I've used five
Ribbons on this card
I also used 4cm Heirloom and the beautiful new
Pale Green Primula.  Fitting in beautifully is one
gorgeous Mint Rose and two Skeleton Leaves.

"Get Well" Card

I've used five Ribbons and Laces on this card -
Heirloom and Primula flowers, a Cherry Blossom,
Swarovski Crystal, and two little Mini Flowers
  - such fun!!!

"Happy Birthday" Card

This colour combination has long been one of my
favourites, and once again Green Tara doesn't disappoint.
Purple and green 4.5cm Primulas, a Cherry Blossom,
some Roses and Velvet Leaves, all available in
exactly the colour you want.  The new
Silver Diamonte Trim comes by the metre
but I have cut motifs separately to embellish my card.

Thanks for dropping by - I hope I have inspired you just
a little.

CSI Case File No.48
"Best Wishes"

Hi everyone - here is my entry for Case File No.48 over at CSI

I just love this challenge - the colours are so easy to work
with and so bright and fresh.

For my Evidence I have used three things from the list.
#1. A clock
#2. A silver metallic accent
#3. Fruit accents.

I have tucked a little clock in amongst all these gorgeous
Green Tara  flowers and once again indulging my love of
fussy cutting, have included a beautiful bunch of grapes.

Fussy cutting again - I can't seem to help myself.
The bottles of wine and the grapes added a nice
little touch to this corner cluster.

This little silver corner was just perfect for this layout.

My Testimony is "recipe journaling".
Here is my recipe for a great home made wine.

My father used to make this wine and I have many fond
memories of happy times at family gatherings.

Thanks so much for dropping by
