The Color Room Challenge #120 "So Beautiful"

 

Hi everyone - this my page for the current challenge over at The Color Room . 

 

I loved this colour palette so much I just had to enter this challenge

I always enjoy using 2 Crafty chipboard, along with lots of flowers, lace and ribbons

Green Tara roses are always fabulous

I indulged my love of fussy cutting for this page.

I found the pics of these little dresses on the internet, printed them on my patterned paper,  then cut them out.

I think they look rather gorgeous.

Remember the Moment

Hi everyone - I've been playing with Green Tara's fabulous products again.

Aren't these fabric flowers just gorgeous.  I love these rich colours

I added a touch of copper paint to some red roses to bring the colour a bit closer to the fabric flowers.  

Some great chipboard, a lace doyley, velvet leaves and various ribbons gave me the rich look I wanted for this page.

Hi everyone - this is my page for Challenge #119 over at The Color Room.

The criteria is:

I painted this fabulous chipboard frame in misty green and musty pink.

My green teal and white I've picked up in the papers and flowers and of course this beautiful photo of a little friend of mine just fits in perfectly with this palette.  I sneaked in a little bit of parchment craft (my second love after scrapbooking) behind the layers.

Fabulous Green Tara flowers finished off this page perfectly.

"Scrap The Girls" - June Challenge - "Splish Splash"

Hi everyone - this is my layout for the June Challenge over at "Scrap The Girls".  The theme was "being outside".  I think this pic is a perfect example of having fun outside.

 I thought tucking the tag behind the beach balls added another dimension to the page.

 I printed these beach balls on different patterned papers and cut them out, then used dimensional tape to added some more layers.

I just love this treatment of the words.

So Pretty

 

 Hi everyone - this is my latest page for the Design Team over at Green Tara

 

As soon as I saw this photo I knew which Green Tara flowers would match perfectly

 

Even these little bows were the right colour.  Add some lace along with GT roses and some bling and everything just came together

 

2 Crafty chipboard is so beautiful - these pieces just finished off my page perfectly

While I was in the "zone" I just had to make a card.  Isn't this little 2 Crafty chippie corner flourish just perfect for a card?

"Scrap The Girls" May Challenge - Sisters

This challenge over at Scrap the Girls was based on a quote which quite touched my heart.  My sister and I are very close.  This picture was taken when we were quite young (I don't really like to think how long ago it really was)

Great 2 Crafty Chipboard and Green Tara flowers added to the delicacy I wanted for this page.

Green Tara ribbons an lace finished it off beautifully.  I am very happy with the way it turned out.

CSI Challenge #20

    This is my page for the latest challenge #20 over at CSI

The photo is of my beautiful grandson, D'Arcy, ready for his Year 10 Formal.  We rarely get to see him 

so dressed up and we are really proud of him. 

For my  Evidence I have used stitching, staggered heights and paint drops and for my Testimony  "say 4 important things", which I have journalled on this tag, and then tucked in behind my layering.

These "4 important things" are exactly how I feel about him.  I love him to bits.
