My Green Tara DT Reveal
"Like Mother Like Daughter" and
"Timeless Beauty"

Hi everyone - this is the first page for my Green Tara post today..
Green Tara just gets better and better - new flowers and ribbons
just seem to keep on coming.

I've used one of my  favourite Green Tara ribbons here, the pink Bead Garland,
along with this beautiful new Flower Edged Organza Ribbon.
I've added some stamping to give my page a little more texture.

I love these small Heirloom Flowers and these little
 Wired Velvet Leaves too.
I've also added a bow using the Satin Edged Ribbon.

Lace has always been one of my favourite things and using it as a
frame  adds a little extra whimsy to my layout.  I made good use of
my Cuttlebug for this layout and I think these panels look quite good.

Roses and Mini Petals are so cute and 2 Crafty Chipboard
helps to display them perfectly.

'Timeless Beauty"

This layout combines two of my favourite colours,  purple and
green and of course Green Tara has everything in all the right colours.

I totally love the colours in these Green Tara flowers, they cluster
beautifully and compliment each other.

I've tucked in some Loop ribbon and Organza Rosettes,
then added a few little mini flowers and Roses and of course
the 2 Crafty Chipboard  is just perfect as always

I think this pretty Flower Edged Organza Ribbon that I have simply
inserted between my layers across the top,
really is so cute and dainty.

Thanks for dropping by.   I hope I've inspired you just a little.

The challenge is:

WHITE
+
YELLOW
+
STARS

I've been waiting for just the right opportunity to use these fabulous photos.
Don' t you just love the look on his face when he had to come back?

I added some stamping and paint splashes to my background
and used gesso and ink on the fence for the texture.

I had a lot of fun with the new hexagon chippies from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

Paper rosettes cut on my Cuttlebug and some great chippie stars
perfectly finished off my layout .

Thanks for dropping by - I hope I have given you some ideas.

"Once Upon a Sketch" October Challenge
Remember the Good Times

Hi everyone - this is my layout for the October Challenge over at

The challenge is:

We would like you to create a layout based on this quote.
You can interpret it ANY way you like.
There is no wrong or right way to interpret this quote
but your layout must incorporate something from this quote
 AND the sketch below.

Christmas is my favourite time of the year and this quote
inspired me to do the page.

I've tucked a copy of the quote and my journalling tag behind the photos
to add a bit more layering to my page.

I just had to use this cute 2 Crafty Santa.  I think he adds just
the right amount of whimsy and fun associated with children
at Christmas.

Lots of lovely Green Tara flowers and some Christmas Tree garlands
upside down to make a banner.

Why not pop over to their Blog and Facebook page and check out their fabulous
product range.

Thanks so much for dropping by.

My Green Tara DT Post
"The Magic of You" & "Special"

"The Magic of You"

Hi everyone - this is my first page for the new Design Team
over at Green Tara. It is so great to be back for another term.

I love this beautiful polka dot organza ribbon
and the purple velvet rose so much
I just had to create a page using them.

The ribbon is so easy to work with and makes great bows.
I've also added some roses, rosebuds and a gardenia.
I think these velvet leaves finish off any cluster perfectly.
I use them all the time.

The new rainforest butterflies are so delicate and pretty.
I've also cut separate hearts from the silver diamonte trim.

These new trims are so pretty - they sparkle quite a lot
and add a bit of "bling" to your pages.

I've also used quite a bit of 2 Crafty chipboard on this page -
I also added some to the background.
I have also used some Green Tara lace which I've used in my
flower cluster and  also tucked in around the edge of the page.

"Special"

Once again the Green Tara polka dot organza ribbon inspired me -
it comes in so many different colours and matches
all the Green Tara flowers.

One of my favourite trims is the lime green  Bud n Bow ribbon.
It is so soft and pretty.
I've also used a little bit of Green Tara Lace for added interest.

Gardenias and roses look so good together.

Just look how beautifully the Green Tara
ribbon and the flowers compliment each other.
I hope I've inspired you just a little bit.

Remember to visit Green Tara at either
their BLOG or on FACEBOOK.

Thanks for dropping by

I

A few layers, some edge distressing & a splash of ink.

More fussy cutting and some stamping.
You can also see some of my staples.

Smile for Me

Hi everyone - this is my entry for the September Challenge over at White With 1.
The criteria is:

White + Orange + Black

I had a lot of fun playing when I did the background - lots of Gesso, Impasto and Glimmermist.
Also some fabulous chipboard.

Green Tara flowers are always an asset to any page - I just love using them on my layouts.

Just a coupe more Green Tara roses and a cute little butterfly to finish off.
