Scrap the Girls April Challenge - 'Especially Sweet"

Hi everyone - hereis my entry for the April Challenge over at Scrap The Girls.  This month's challenge was a sketch and the preference was 8.5" x 11".  I really enjoyed doing the smaller size.

Of course I had to fussy cut, and I've also created a 3D effect using Magic Mount.
Thank you so much for dropping by

Once Upon a Sketch March Challenge - "I miss..."

Hi everyone - here is my design for this month's challenge over at Once Upon a Sketch.  The criteria was - finish this sentence - "I miss...."
I've never stopped missing my little Miss Midge.  She was a gentle and loving companion for 16 years.
The journalling was part of the criteria - I have to say I loved doing this page but it did make me feel a little emotional.
I embossed using my cuttlebug, border punched around the page, distressed and scrunched.
Plenty of flowers and chipboard completed this layout

Hi everyone - this is my latest layout for the Design Team over at Green Tara
The frame I used is part of a fabulous chipboard set that can be used for multiple pages.
I never get tired of Green Tara Flowers, they are just awesome.  The black and white flower in the middle is made with Green Tara ribbon.
More Green Tara ribbon.  Both these ribbons come in several different colours.
